Bureau Veritas Vietnam is a 100% foreign owned company, established in 1998 under the Investment License No. 2042/GP dated 6 March 1998 issued by the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam. It is a full subsidiary of Bureau Veritas S.A., which is set up in 1828 and has now a network that covers 140 countries and includes more than 900 offices and laboratories, with over 39,000 skilled employees servicing 370,000 customers across a wide range of end markets.

Bureau Veritas Vietnam is a professional services firm dedicated to Quality, Health & Safety,  Environment (QHSE) Management and Social Responsibility, in the field of Aerospace, Automotive, Construction & Real Estate, Consumer Products, Electrical & Electronics, Food, Government Services & International Trade, Industrial Equipment, Marine, Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Process Industries, Retail, Services, Transport & Infrastructures... Bureau Veritas Vietnam delivers a comprehensive range of services including inspection, testing, audit, certification, ship classification and related technical assistance, training, outsourcing and  advisory services.

From the date of its establishment, the economic revenues of Bureau Veritas Vietnam have continued to show a significant growth. This has been achieved by the expansion of its activities.  

WORKFORCE
The consolidated human resources of Bureau Veritas Vietnam is about 300 people, more than two third of whom are technical expert and surveyors, with engineering or technical qualifications in all industries.

EXPERTISE AND TECHNICAL SUPPORTS 
Bureau Veritas Vietnam focuses on permanent training of its personnel in order to always be at the highest level of technical expertise, to be in line with the latest standards and regulations. It recruits among highly experienced technicians.
Should additional expertise be required, Bureau Veritas Group has set up two Technical Centers in the Asia Region:  the first in Kuala Lumpur, the second in Shanghai.
Should additional resources be required, the Asia Region network will assist with neighboring countries such as China, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. Furthermore, the worldwide network and the headquarters in Paris, France, are also available. Headquarters are organized on business lines basis, dedicated for supporting the network on specific matters.

WORLDWIDE COMPUTER NETWORK
Bureau Veritas Vietnam uses same software adopted by Bureau Veritas Group (Auto Cad, SAP 2000, RBI, etc.). Bureau Veritas Vietnam is connected to all Bureau Veritas offices in the world with Lotus Notes™ system to provide a full and secured information Data Exchange System. With such online network, Bureau Veritas Vietnam is in position to immediately deliver its reports and information to its Clients.

LITIGATION HISTORY
Since its operation in Vietnam, Bureau Veritas Vietnam has no litigation or arbitration resulting from the performance of its services.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Bureau Veritas Vietnam operates with the same quality management system than Bureau Veritas Group, which has been certified ISO 9001:2008.
Bureau Veritas Vietnam's Health, Safety, and Environment Management System has also been certified ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
